About Me

Most likely you’re here because you came across my blog and decided it looked cool enough for you to want to learn more about me. This blog is my getaway, and you’re getting a little peek at my vacation destination, so why not take the trip with me?

After submerging myself in pages of various books, I’ll come back up for air to tell you all about them and whether or not they’re worth the plunge for you. You can read all of my book reviews by clicking on the ‘Book Reviews’ button in the menu above!

For lighter material to tread, you can read any and all of my random blog posts by clicking the ‘Blogging’ button up above!

If you just want a simple list of the books I’ve read this year so you can go on your way, go to the ‘2020 Reading Challenge’ page. I update the list every time I finish a book, and at the end of the year my goal is to have read 100 books.

Lastly, if you want some more personal contact with me, go to the ‘Contact’ page and fill the form out!

Now, just who am I?

My name is Montana, and I love reading books. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I was recently accepted into seminary, where I will be earning a Master of Divinity (Chaplaincy) degree. I hope to be a chaplain in various places and organizations. I love reading and decided to start a book blog so I can talk about books even more. 🙂

Some random facts about me? I’m addicted to coffee and soda (I know it’s bad for me but y’all…I’ve tried quitting and I just can’t). I live in Ohio, but my favorite city is New Orleans. I think the comic book/superhero movie trend needs to die; it’s almost as bad as the vampire/werewolf trend after Twilight. My favorite color is pink, having even dyed my hair pink for a few months. I love drama/crime shows and am a sucker for documentaries about crimes. I just recently began listening to podcasts and my favorite one so far is Lore and Serial Killers. I love love love love my bed. I love journaling and will always enjoy writing. And finally, I love reading 🙂
